Assistant Operations Manager – Woman’s Clothing Brand (Legian)

One of our clients, an Australian concept brand, explores art through pleats and colour and is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the administration and production side of the business including HR, pre and post production, and dispatch.

Additionally, this role involves assisting the Director of Operations in various tasks and providing regular reports on the progress of ongoing projects. This role will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for directly managing the day to day operations throughout the office and factories.

Requirements :

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in Operations Management, preferably in the Fashion/Retail industry.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Proven experience in inventory management.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively leading teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Based in Bali (work from office).

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement operational standards, policies and procedures to be followed by staff.
• Assist in implementing and overseeing all main office operations, policies, and procedures.
• Regular reporting to top management on necessary and actual expenses such as maintenance, equipment, etc.
• Communicate changes to department heads on timelines, new or added POs, increase or decrease in global production numbers, fabrics, etc.
• Create and implement SOP for each department and ensure that department heads are following standard protocol.
• Help to create and implement KPI’s for each department.
• Assist in onboarding of new team members.
• Assist in monthly reviews of each department.
• Manage shipments to ensure that they are following correct timelines and communicate any lateness or issues to DOO.
• Manage internal documents to ensure that production timelines are being met and each department has the resources that they need.
• Handle operational crises, such as timeline/dispatch disruptions, emergencies, or unexpected situations, ensuring minimal impact on clients and the business.
