Waiter/Waitress

Customer Service:

• Greet guests warmly and seat them at their tables.
• Provide menus and explain specials or promotions.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure they are enjoying their experience.

Order Management:

• Enter orders into the point of sale (POS) system.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Ensure all orders are correctly prepared and presented.

Payment Processing:

• Present bills to customers and accept payments.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions securely and accurately.
• Provide correct change and receipts.

Table Maintenance:

• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
• Reset tables for the next group of guests.
• Ensure the dining area is tidy and welcoming at all times.

Adherence to Regulations:

• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Verify the age of customers to ensure they meet legal drinking age requirements.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines.

Conflict Resolution:

• Handle customer complaints or concerns calmly and efficiently.
• Escalate issues to the manager when necessary.

Team Collaboration:

• Assist other staff members during busy periods.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Support promotional activities and special events.

Additional Duties:

• Help with inventory management by notifying the manager of low stock items.
• Assist in cleaning and closing the club at the end of the night.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality, especially in a bar or nightclub
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, carry heavy trays, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interpersonal Skills: Able to communicate in English with excellent customer service skills to interact with diverse clientele.
• Appearance: Maintaining a neat and presentable appearance, adhering to dress codes or uniforms if applicable.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well with other staff members, including bartenders, security, and management.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle complaints and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work late hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic Math Skills: To handle transactions, provide correct change, and manage tabs.
• Knowledge of Drinks and Menu: Familiarity with the night club’s menu, including cocktails, wines, and other beverages.
• Able to join immediately.
