Within this role you will support the detailed design of mechanical engineering and calculations in the building services and MEP space, technical reporting, and support engineering tasks across a wide range of award-winning buildings projects. These projects include infrastructure projects in transportation (such as airports, MRT/LRT stations, bus terminals, and ports), civic and institutional projects, commercial and mixed-use developments. As part of the role, key responsibilities will include:

• Design of mechanical systems specializing on Design of fire protection system, and able to design air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (HVAC), and sanitary systems in buildings.
• Preparation of calculations, drawings, specifications, authority submissions, and reports.
• Utilize working in the building information modelling space to undertake engineering calculations and design. E.g., automation and computation design.
• Consulting with authorities, utility supply companies and equipment manufacturers
• Attend design meetings, site meetings and other project related meetings.
• Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and grow your client facing skills.
• Think and work globally in partnership with regional and international teams across MM.
• Be an advocate of sustainable and smart buildings design.

Candidate Specification: About You:

• A Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
• Strong interest and passion in pursuing mechanical engineering/building services design in the built environment industry.
• Self-motivated, analytical with a learning mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
• Excellent written communication with great attention to detail.
• Team player with the ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
