Currently seeking a VP Key Account Manager to join their commercial team and contribute with the development and growth of the companys named accounts

Job Description
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive key account management strategy, aligning with overall company objectives
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize named key accounts for targeted growth initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts, securing favorable terms and exceeding client expectations.
  • Oversee the entire customer lifecycle for key accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic account plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer service, product development) to ensure a unified approach to client engagement.
  • Develop and implement programs to foster deeper client relationships, loyalty, and advocacy.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and account performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and establishing thought leadership.
The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales leadership, bringing and managing various number of named accounts.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and achieving significant growth within key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of strategic account management principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a focus on building strong relationships at the executive level.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into strategic solutions.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making with a focus on maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies and processes.
