Title: Channel Account Manager
Location : Indonesia - Remote
The role is to recruit, manage partners and develop opportunities within Indonesia within ASEAN region, This particular role is for Indonesia. The core goal of the role is to strengthen SonicWall presence and its market share within the country by expanding channel networks and re-engaging long tail partners. This role will require strategic planning and execution around net new logo and installed base customers for strategic growth. This role will work closely with various functions such as IBS and PreSales, Channel, in order to build stronger foundation within channel community and generate best business outcome in revenue. Successful candidates will have proven experience with competitive partners and technologies and will have strong drive for results.
Responsibilities:
- Drives sales within the Channel market segment
- Provide reliable forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual interval
- Actively develops solid, qualified and healthy sales pipeline and meet quota expectations
- Maintains strong customer and partner (distributors and resellers) relationships
- Experience in developing sales and channel strategies, preparing proposals and quotes, and presenting SonicWall portfolio.
- Ability to map SonicWalls value propositions into a partners strategic priorities to create compelling events for their sales force.
- Ability to develop and execute a joint business plan that maps out quota achievement strategies and tactics
- Provide reliable forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual interval
- Manage all territory strategic partnership engagements including but not limited to partner annual plans, QBRs
- Identifies creative incentives and opportunities (for partners and customers) to increase sales
- Serve as a subject matter expert of SonicWalls products and services
Requirements: - Existing strong relationships within enterprise customer and channel accounts
- Demonstrable enterprise channel sales experience in the networking or security field.
- Understand Network Security competitive landscape well
- Key account management experience
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding partner quota expectations
- Strong understanding of advanced security concepts, solution selling
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have successful track- record of working in a remote field position
- Team player but required to be highly independent at times with a desire for success
- Ability and willingness to travel within territory
Education and Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3 years and a Masters degree;
Preferences:
- 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience and must have prior channel experience in the UTM/firewall, security solutions realm
- Comfortable to work with all levels of the customer organization up to Senior Management and C Level.
- Strong MEDDIC approach sales skills.
- Knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, and networking solutions highly preferred.
