Vice General Manager - Sales and Marketing

Job Overview:

• The Vice General Manager - Sales & Marketing plays a critical role in the strategic leadership of the organization, responsible for directing and overseeing the sales and marketing functions.
• This position reports directly to the General Manager and is instrumental in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
  - Collaborate with the General Manager in developing sales and marketing strategies that align with the companys overall goals and objectives.
  
  • Provide input and recommendations on the annual budget, forecasts, and business plans.
• Sales Management:
  - Lead and manage the sales team, setting clear sales targets, and driving performance.
  
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Marketing Management:
  - Oversee the marketing team in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and promotions.
  
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment across all marketing efforts.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
• Customer Relationship Management:
  - Foster strong customer relationships and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  
  • Implement customer-centric approaches to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Market Expansion:
  - Identify and explore new markets and segments for potential business growth.
  
  • Develop market entry strategies and partnerships to expand the companys reach.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  - Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts.
  
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the General Manager and executive team.
• Team Development:
  - Recruit, train, and mentor sales and marketing personnel to build a high-performing team.
  
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• 5 years proven experience in sales and marketing leadership roles.
• Prior experience in Yoga & Meditation Teacher training business is preferable
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficient in a range of marketing tools including CRM, email marketing platforms, social media management, marketing automation, analytics and reporting, CMS, SEO, PPC advertising, video marketing, market research, and email marketing automation.
• Demonstrated success in revenue growth and market expansion.
• Open to relocating to Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.
