Public Relations Associate

AwanTunai is looking for a Public Relation Associate who will organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media and the public.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR campaigns and media relations strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with the internal teams (e.g Marketing) to develop employer’s branding, internal communication and marketing campaigns, while maintaining open communication to senior management.
• Suggest, create and enhance promotional materials and publications, including brochures, videos, and social media posts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
• Proofread and edit promotional materials such as press releases, newsletters, and social media posts.
• Conduct research and interview, if necessary, in order to create and develop a clear and concise copy.
• Translate all written communications in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Prepare and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets.
• Able to coordinate and manage PR events, such as open days and press conferences, and serve as the official spokesperson for the company.
• Actively seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising, maintaining positive relationships with key media professionals.
• Schedule interviews and press conferences to enhance the companys media presence.
• Address inquiries from the media and other external parties in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor media coverage and stay informed about industry trends to proactively shape the companys PR strategies.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive PR reports detailing activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement.

• Effectively manage and resolve PR issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable university.

• Proven 3 years of work experience within public relations agencies, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of PR practices and strategies.
• Proficiency in essential software, including MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and MS Word).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling and effective messages.
• Verbal and written proficiency in English & Bahasa is a must.
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.
