We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Supervisor Fixed Income Settlement

Principal Responsibilities:

• Process (input, prematch, settle) clients securities settlement instructions facing internal and external (brokers, global market, and other custodian bank) counterparties both in local and international Central Securities Depository
• Process the related foreign exchange transaction
• Prepare report to internal stakeholders and regulators
• Liaise with other sections and related departments within HSBC on day to day basis and also with regulatory bodies
• Working together with various business lines within the bank, both locally and regionally.
• Active participation and contribution in projects, automation and efficiency initiatives
• Liaise with clients and counterparties to solve settlement related issues
• Timely and accurate delivery of the assigned tasks

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Hold a minimum bachelor degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or related discipline with 2 years of banking experience in operations.
• Good communication skills need to be in constant communication with other HSBC units and external clients and counterparties
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple stakeholders
• Ability to implement initiatives and work as part of a team
• Hands on experience of processing and supervisory functions preferably in Capital Market Industry
• Good time management, planning, analytical and organization skills
• Knowledge on basic MS Excel functions
• A good understanding of the overall securities industry from an operational and regulatory perspective
