Asset Reliability Maintenance Manager North Sumatra, Indonesia Oleochemical - FMCG 15+ years Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Physics) Local Indonesian English Proficiency is Mandatory As Per The Market Standard Job Roles and Responsibilities Asset Reliability Maintenance Manager Assures departmental compliance with all environmental, health, and safety policies, and other company standards,practices. To Lead in the implementation of the Reliable Asset Management program (RAM). Transform from a “break / fix” maintenance culture to a planned, proactive, precision, predictive, and preventative maintenance culture. Measures and evaluates department maintenance activities efficiencies, costs, and productivity. Provides appropriate recommendations to direct reports and/or management as required. Asset Reliability Maintenance Manager has full responsibility to develop, execute and improve reliability of the Company asset in whole site or other new developed Plant. He/She will be accountable for Plant Availability to produce in meeting Customer demand in right quantity, right quality and right time.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Maintenance of Business (MOB) Capital Management: Establish annual departmental MOB budgets and prioritize activities in accordance with allocated budget. Periodically conduct/review the Physical Asset Ricks Analysis to identify any potential physical asset life cycle risks that could adversely impact business objectives. Include associated activities into the annual MOP capital budgeting process.
• Maintenance & Reliability Plan Development: Assure that all maintainable assets are uniquely identified in the asset register, hierarchically organized by business and process circuit, and categorized by equipment class. Develop preventive (PM) and predictive (PdM) maintenance strategies to support business objectives, and to optimize life-cycle costs for all equipment identified on the asset register.
• Manage Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Programs: Establish and maintain systems to manage equipment condition data. Assure that data is captured and evaluated in a timely manner. Develop maintenance Job Plans that contain sequenced work instructions and procedures including safety considerations, parts and materials, technical specifications, and detailed drawings as required. Job Plans are to be established for all preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), condition-based maintenance (CBM) and corrective maintenance activities. Coordinate with Maintenance Planning & Scheduling to assure compliance with the master PM and PdM schedules. Coordinate with Maintenance Work Execution to assure that technicians are trained to effectively capture machinery condition data in accordance with the PM and PdM master schedule. Maintain Plant Health and related metrics for each plant area.
• Reliability Continuous Improvement: Analyzes costs and benefits of equipment maintenance, capital improvements, and production unit shutdowns. Recommends strategies that minimize production interruptions and optimize production capacity. Develop and meet departmental performance expectations targeting the continuous improvement of the work identification, planning, scheduling, work execution, and failure elimination functions of maintenance. Work to continuously improve production capacity by identifying root causes of downtime and implementing action plans to reduce recurrences. Facilitate cross-functional teams to evaluate equipment failures and defects that compromise health, safety, or the environment, erode value, reduce production, or create waste.
• Training and Succession Planning: Establish training and development programs for the Reliability Engineers, and Reliability Technicians. Assure that competent back-up personnel are adequately trained to sustain the Reliability, and condition monitoring activities through vacations and personal changes. Assesses employee performance, development, training, and succession management needs in assigned area of responsibility. Establishes and utilizes the necessary protocols to meet goals. Help train and implement autonomous maintenance activities with production personnel.

Skills and Key Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Engineering & Maintenance Field
• Experience of leading and delivering Reliability Maintenance Program such as RCM, RBI, PdM, TPM, etc
• Experience with different Industries, but candidate coming from Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical Process Manufacturing is a PLUS.
• Experience in Project & Engineering management will be value added
• Expert in control of maintenance scheduling
• Track record in managing large scale operation and working with multi disciplines as well as multi department
• Experience in all stages of Maintenance Program Development start from Asset Register, Scheduling, Resources allocation, Performance Evaluation
• Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical Industry Experience
• Certification in TPM/RCM/RBI will be additional advantages
• Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management
• Project Execution / Management
• Excellent knowledge of World Class Manufacturing practices
• Experience of managing high value budgets for ensuring all asset are well maintain beyond their expected life cycle.
• Fluent in English Language and preferably Indonesian
